The Chinese American Society of CPAs

History

The Chinese American Society of CPAs (CASCPAs) was founded in 1985. In 1987, it was formally incorporated in New York State as a not-for-profit corporation and was granted tax ememption status under the IRC section 501(C)(6) by the Internal Revenue Service.

Currently we have over sixty licensed CPA members in the Greater New York area, with majority conducting public practices in Manhanttan and Queens. We are actively seeking to increase our membership by 20% in the next two years.

Mission

The society is founded to enhance the professional standing of licensed accountants, to assist members by providing educational, networking and other practice building opportunities.

The society also reaches out to serve the community by providing educational programs, through seminars and articles to teach the general public on how to become better consumers when purchasing services from tax and accouting practitioners.
